Parents Against a Draft was founded by concerned parents who see the
writing on the wall: Our children are at risk for being drafted into an endless
war(s) that can result in physical and mental harm or death.
We are organized to educate ourselves and convince our government not to
reinstate the draft.
Parents Against a Draft is an independent, non-partisan organization. Local
chapters are welcome. These chapters can sponsor speakers in their
community, order material through this web site, and work with local schools
and community groups to educate parents and students about the imminent
possibility of a new draft, what it means for your child, and what the options
are for draft-age young adults.
