What You Can Do

Contact your representatives in Washington.

Talk to your children.

Invite speakers to your community.

Contact your local  and state PTA and urge the members to draft a
resolution against the reinstatement of the draft.  Local and state
PTAs
can also organize educational activities in the schools on this issue.

Start a Parents Against the Draft group in your community and help get
other parents involved.

Let people know that they are not alone in their concern about the draft
by displaying buttons, bumper stickers, and T-shirts from our Spread the
Word shop.

Donate to Parents Against a Draft to reach as many Americans as possible
and make our voices heard.

2. A new military draft
will assure that Black

Americans are not
over-represented in
the military.
